Awesome capture, Yves. The detail is remarkable.

Yves Langlois

Tell you Heather, I was kind of shock when I saw that quality of photo. I was very surprise that I could do that with my camera. Like everyone I have shot the moon many times with many different kind of camera in my long life and I never had a result like this. A new domain I am excited to experience in the futur.

Super nice detail in the moon’s surface Yves. Well done.

Yves Langlois

Thank you so much Debra. I suspect that the quality of the lens has someting to do with those nice details. It is quite exciting because it forces me to learn about the way the moon behave in the sky . So far my prefered is when the moon is close to the sun set. (That append only few days in a month.)The sunset gives a nice colour to the moon and the fading sunlight make the shots easyer to do. That one is done from my balcony. My next step is shooting the moon over a landscape or the city.
